Allen Edward Cooler was born on July 24, 1940 to David Edward Cooler and Mamie Mae Cooler. On November 19, 1988 he married Linda Bevis Cooler, who survives. Allen went to his forever home on February 8, 2026 at the age of 85 years. Other than his wife of 37 years, he leaves his children, Julie Wilson (Halle) of Jacksonville, Florida, Allen Edward Cooler, Jr. (Lisa) of Hardeeville, South Carolina, Cheryl P. Cooler Reddish (Tommie) of Screven, Georgia, Troy Dale Cooler (Kim) of Whitley City, Kentucky, Tammy Thomas (Kevin) of Adamsville, Tennessee, Jeff Cummings (Jane Anna) of Savannah, Tennessee.
Allen was preceded in death by both of his parents, his first wife, Patricia Sauls Cooler, an infant daughter, Rhonda Denise Cooler and two siblings, Ingle Cooler Harvey (Roy) and Angie Cooler Edenfield (David). He is survived by one sister, Barbara Cooler Biggers (Jim).
Allen was an Ironworker (709) out of Port Wentworth, Georgia for 25 years. He loved deer hunting, shrimping, crabbing and family cookouts, especially Low Country boils. Allen loved dancing and music of any kind and was crazy about Elvis. He was a Mason, Shriner, member of Eastern Star, member of Marine Rescue Squad and Crump First Baptist Church. Allen and Linda lived in Ridgeland, South Carolina until 2008 at which time they moved to Crump, Tennessee.
Allen was blessed to have fourteen grandchildren: Heather Edwards Cook (Ryan), Ashley Edwards McCray (Josh), Halee Wilson Filion (Tim), Michael Cooler, Wyatt Cooler, Paige Reddish Edwards (Tyler), Colby Tyler Cooler (Sierra), Toria Cooler, Cydney Thomas, Megan Thomas, Natalie Thomas, Cameron Thomas, Carson Cummings and Ryder Cummings.
He was also blessed with great grandchildren: Taylor Cook, Kara Cook, Chloe Cook, Rebecca Cooler Caudill, Dawson Cooler, Korbyn Cooler, Kennedy Cooler, Austin Ray Cooler, Huxley Edwards, Haisley Edwards and Henry Cooler.
Allen was further blessed with great great grandchildren: Magnolia Caudill, Colton Caudill, Avery McCray, Aiden McCray, Liam McCray, Octavious Cooler and Matteo Cooler.
Allen was a master prankster, jack of all trades but king of none and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Crump First Baptist Church on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. preceded by a visitation from 10:30 to 11:00 at the Church.
