Amanda Jo Taylor, age 50, of Stantonville, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at her residence on May 26, 2025. Born on January 15, 1975, Amanda was the beloved daughter of Elizabeth and James Dawson.
Amanda dedicated her professional life to supporting families as a childcare coordinator. Her passion for children and her nurturing spirit were evident in every aspect of her work. Outside of her career, she found joy in collecting bottles and antiques, and she especially loved attending auctions—always eager for the thrill of discovery and the stories hidden in old treasures.
A true lover of life and people, Amanda was known for her vibrant personality and boundless energy. She had an incredible zest for living and a determination to stay active, regardless of how she felt. She was always on the go, finding purpose and joy in staying busy and being around others.
Amanda had a deep love for her dogs, Chloe and Amy, and now joins her beloved Lilly who passed before her. Her affection for animals was a testament to her compassionate heart.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Frank Taylor; her parents, James and Elizabeth Dawson; and her siblings: Eli Dawson, Tony Dawson (Sidney), Billy Dawson, Lori Brown, and Lisa Dawson and her best friend, Greg Cherry, who was like family and a constant source of love and laughter in her life. She leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, love, and unshakable spirit.
A celebration of Amanda’s life will be held on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Memories at Associated Family Funeral Home of Adamsville, with the family receiving friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. In honor of Amanda’s wishes, this gathering will be a joyful remembrance of her life—a time to share stories, smiles, and the warmth she brought into so many lives.
