Anton McGee Obituary

Anton Caleb Evan “Ace” McGee was born on May 19, 2006, in Rolla, Missouri, bringing joy and light into the lives of those around him and departed this life on August 1, 2023, leaving a void that can never be filled. He was a cherished son, a devoted brother, a doting uncle, a loyal friend, and a blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Ace was a junior at McNairy Central in Selmer, Tennessee, where he touched the hearts of many with his vibrant spirit and warm smile. He had an undeniable zest for life and a genuine love for those around him. Ace's radiant personality and caring nature made him a beacon of positivity to everyone he encountered.

He is survived by his loving mother, Jennifer Reinke Ervin of Bethel Springs, and his siblings: Adriana Reinke, Brianna Loggains, Caeleigha McGee, Sunshine McGee, Ayla McGee, Zapphire Gaetan, Cole Wilson, Tristin Ervin, Zeke McGee, and Thaddios Gaetan. Ace was an integral part of a close-knit family, a source of strength and unity, binding their hearts together with unbreakable bonds.

Ace's adoration extended beyond his immediate family, as he held a special place in the hearts of his nephews and niece: Nathan Garrison, Braxton Garrison, Drayven Reinke, Waylon Lambert, and Kaziah McGee-Barry. His grandparents, Thomas and Barbara Reinke Sr. and Edna Ervin, provided him with love, guidance, and cherished memories.

Although Ace's time on Earth was cut short, his legacy of love and warmth lives on through the multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by his presence. He had a natural ability to connect with people, creating lasting bonds that transcended time and distance.

Ace's passions were a testament to his zest for life. He embraced every moment with enthusiasm, whether he was shooting hoops on the basketball court, charging down the field in a game of football, tending to the outdoors he loved so much, or immersing himself in the virtual world of his PlayStation. His joy was infectious, and his laughter could light up the darkest of days.

Above all, Ace treasured his family above anything else. His deep love and unwavering devotion were a source of inspiration to everyone who knew him. He taught us the importance of cherishing the moments we have with our loved ones and living life to the fullest.

Ace was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Wayne Ervin Jr., and his grandfather, Bobby Wayne Ervin Sr. While his physical presence may have left us, his spirit remains eternally alive in the hearts of those who were blessed to share in his journey.

As we mourn the loss of Ace, we also celebrate the beautiful soul he was and the countless lives he touched. In his memory, may we find comfort in the love we shared and the memories we hold dear. Ace's legacy will forever remind us to embrace life with the same passion and love that he exemplified every day.
