Betty Margaret Hunt, a lifelong resident of Adamsville, Tennessee, passed away on August 31, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on May 21, 1961, to Loyd Williams and Maybell Hastings Williams, who preceded her in death.
Betty’s life was filled with creativity and love. She found joy in painting by numbers, drawing, and had a deep affection for animals. Her love for jewelry reflected her vibrant personality and unique style. A true Adamsville native, Betty was known for her kind heart, warm smile, and gentle spirit, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Hunt; her stepson John Hunt; her sister, Joann Pickens; and her brother, Stanley Williams. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Park (Billy) her stepdaughter Pam Alexander, her stepson Steven Hunt; her sisters, Sandra McLin (Tony) and Brenda Crumby (Charles); her brother, Harold Williams; and her nephew, Willie Williams. She also leaves behind a cherished grandsons, Branson White, Brandon Fields, Timothy Fields and Derrick Fields, and her granddaughter Jillian Hunt. Betty is additionally survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Lynn and Belinda Mamula, as well as her niece, Kelly Mamula.
