Brent Hollins Obituary

Robert Brent Hollins, affectionately known as "Brent," passed away unexpectedly on June 9, 2026, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

Born on April 26, 1979, Brent was the beloved son of Robert Paul Hollins and Linda Weatherford Hollins. He graduated from Hardin County High School in 1997 and spent his life devoted to his faith, his family, and the people he loved.

Above all, Brent was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He cherished every moment spent with his family and especially loved being with his children. In recent years, he found great joy in thrifting adventures with his wife and children, creating memories that will be treasured forever. Brent was known for the way he cared for those he loved, especially his wife, Candie. He doted on her in countless ways, always putting her needs before his own—even making sure she never had to pump her own gas.

A faithful follower of Christ, Brent had been a dedicated member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Selmer for the past ten years. His faith was evident in the way he lived, loved, and served others. Many will remember hearing Christian music playing from his home each evening as he worshipped and reflected on God's goodness. He loved the Lord deeply, and his faith guided every aspect of his life.

Brent loved being outdoors, turkey hunting, working with wood, and creating things with his hands. Whether helping someone with a project, fixing something that needed attention, or simply enjoying time outside, he found satisfaction in staying busy and serving others. He worked as an Electrical Foreman with SKS Electrical and was respected by those who worked alongside him, but his greatest pride and joy were always found in his family and his faith.

Brent leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife and the love of his life, Candie Hollins; his son, Robert Aiden Hollins; his daughter, Karlee Brook Ganus; his parents, Robert and Linda Hollins; his sister, Tracy Pipes; his mother-in-law, Tomia Hudson (Ricky Churchwell); his brother-in-law, Rod Ganus (Heather); his sister-in-law, Kriston Ganus Horton; his nieces, Brieann Webb (Bailey), Hadleigh Ganus, and Mila Horton; his nephews, Brenton Pipes, Cash Ganus, JC Ganus, and Elliott Horton; great-niece and great-nephew, Ava Webb and Baylor Webb; along with numerous extended family members, church family, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Though his time on earth was far too short, Brent leaves behind a legacy of unwavering faith, selfless love, and devotion to family. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his servant's spirit, his love for the Lord, and the countless ways he made those around him feel cared for and valued. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
