Bryan Keith Funk, 57, of Sardis, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on October 26, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1968, to Ronald and Margaret Funk.
During his working life, Bryan was a skilled electrician who took great pride in his craft and the hard work that came with it. Outside of work, he found joy in many things — he loved to play, to laugh, and to stay active. He had a passion for landscaping and even owned his own business doing what he loved. A loyal Florida State Seminoles fan, Bryan especially enjoyed college football season. His wife, Jennifer, is a proud Florida Gators fan, and their home was lovingly “divided” each Thanksgiving weekend during the big rivalry game — a friendly competition that made for many fun memories together.
Bryan also loved to sing and shared his voice in the church choir at First Baptist Church in Adamsville. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends playing cards, where his lighthearted but competitive nature always kept things lively.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Johnson Funk; his children, Brittany Alt, Bryan Funk Jr., Jackson James Funk, Susannah Grimes, and Sophie Grimes. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Margaret Funk, and his grandparents.
Services celebrating Bryan’s life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Adamsville. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until service time at the church.
