Charles Vernon Collins, 80, passed away on January 26, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on January 24, 1945, to William Collins and Beulah Kelley Collins.
Charles was a devoted member of True Vision Full Gospel Church in Savannah, TN. He had a passion for westerns, fishing, and playing the guitar, bringing joy to those around him with his music.
He is survived by his children, Keith Collins (Jamie), Alan Collins (Amanda), and Jason Collins (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Chelsea Morris, Shantel Collins, Mason Collins, Tristan Collins, Peyton Collins, Keoni Sia, Zachary Collins, Autumn Collins, Keilee Collins, Jaxon Ballard, Brianna Collins, Brittany Collins, and Joshua Collins; his sister, Joyce Collins; and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Collins; his son, Tony Collins; and his siblings, Bill Collins, Robert Collins, Dudley Collins, and Dorothy Collins.
A service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville, TN. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM on Friday and continue until service time. Burial will follow at Hardin County Memory Gardens.
