Charles Herbert Mittendorf, 75, of Jackson, TN, passed away on October 17, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born in Panama City, Florida, to the late Harold Russell Mittendorf and Rose Lorena Aspden Mittendorf, Charles lived a life full of adventure and love for his family. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Charles had a passion for riding his motorcycle and, in his younger years, enjoyed camping and floating down the Buffalo River. His nieces and nephews held a special place in his heart, and he was known for his deep affection for them.
He is survived by his siblings, Ann Mittendorf, Bill Mittendorf, and Thomas Russell Mittendorf; his nieces and nephews, Timothy Mittendorf, Ezekiel Mittendorf, Jonas Mittendorf, Mordecai Mittendorf, Jessica Miller, and Joshua Miller; and his beloved dog, Sassy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his nephew, Chris Mittendorf.
