Charles Bailey Tucker III, known to most as “Chuck,” passed away on March 12, 2026, in Savannah, Tennessee.
Chuck was born on March 15, 1964, in Savannah to Charles Tucker Jr. and Mary Louise Tucker. He spent his life in the area and worked for many years as an autobody refinisher.
He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and loved living by the creek in Shiloh. He also had a passion for street rods. Chuck took great pride in his cars and was featured four times in Street Scene Magazine for awards he won.
More than anything, Chuck loved his family and spending time with his wife, Minnie Dodd Tucker, who was by his side for 36 years.
He is survived by his wife, Minnie Dodd Tucker; his sons, Charles Tucker IV and Joseph Dodd; his daughter, Christy Hays (Chris); his brother, Steven Tucker; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Donald Gray; his son, Roger Dodd; and his grandson, Cordell Hays.
A service to celebrate Chuck’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 23, 2026, at Associated Family Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.
