Cherie Diane Ferge

Cherie Diane Ferge, 51, of Somerville, Tennessee, passed away on February 25, 2026, at her home.

Cherie was born on December 4, 1974, to Michael Pittman and Mary Watson Pittman. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Harmony Baptist Church in Whiteville, Tennessee.

Cherie loved the simple things in life. She enjoyed diamond painting, fishing and camping, baking, and most of all spending time with her family. Her family meant everything to her, and she treasured the time they shared together. She will be remembered for her love for her children and the joy she found in being around the people she cared about.

She is survived by her parents, Wayne Pittman and Diane Pittman; her son, Danny Wayne Ferge; her daughters, Rebecca Ann Ferge (Anthony Hester) and Hannah Michelle Kyle (Brody); her brother, Michael Wayne Pittman, Jr.; her nieces, Addison Pittman; and her nephew, James Pittman. She also leaves behind a grandbaby on the way.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Lisa Logan, and her grandparents.

A service to celebrate Cherie’s life will be held Friday, March 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church in Whiteville, Tennessee, with Brother Terry Logan officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until the service time at 2:00 PM at the church on Friday only. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
