Clayton Wendell Lingelbach Sr., age 73, passed away at Hardin Medical Center on March 30, 2024. He was born January 7, 1951 in Iuka, MS to Henry Clay and Virginia Robinson Lingelbach.
Clayton was a farmer and was a Deacon at Center Hill Baptist Church.
He was a member of SME Society of Manufacturing Engineers and loved fishing and hunting.
Clayton is survived by his spouse, Mattie (Butler) Lingelbach, one son Clayton Lingelbach Jr. both of Michie, TN, one brother Johnnie Lingelbach (Diane) of Michie, three grandchildren Destiny Merryman
(Andrew), Alex C. Lingelbach, Gillian Lingelbach, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, three great grandchildren Will Merryman, Lena Merryman, Nora Merryman and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Stephen E. Lingelbach, and one great granddaughter Arabella Merryman.
Visitation will be at Center Hill Baptist Church on April 13th from 1 – 2 p.m. Services will be April 13th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donation be made to the Living Free Ministries, 2024 US-72 Corinth, MS 38834 phone 662-603-9829, in memory of Mr. Lingelbach.
