Dan Russell Cates

Dan Russell Cates, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Jackson Madison General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. Dan was born on September 11, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, to Wabell and Dorothy Pickard Cates.

A devoted member of The Church of Christ, Dan previously

attended Stantonville Church of Christ until he became disabled. He had a deep love for cooking, gardening, and the great outdoors, with a particular fondness for trips to the river.

Visitation and viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Adamsville Chapel of Memories, located at Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville, TN, which is in charge of the arrangements.

Dan leaves behind his beloved wife, Angela Franks Cates of Parsons, along with many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, David Cates.

The family at Associated Family Funeral Home is deeply honored and grateful to have been chosen to serve the Cates family during this time.
