Darryl Edwin Love, 41 passed away on June 20, 2024, in Savannah, TN. Born on August 27, 1982, in Memphis, TN, Darryl was the beloved son of the late Randy Jo Phillips and Carol Candace Love.
Darryl was a spirited individual with a zest for life. He was a dedicated fan of college football, cheering passionately for his favorite team, the Tennessee Volunteers. His love for video games provided him with many hours of enjoyment and camaraderie. Darryl was known for his fun-loving nature, always ready to have a good time and spread joy to those around him.
An outdoor enthusiast, Darryl found peace and happiness in fishing and camping. He was a hard worker, demonstrating diligence and commitment in all his endeavors. Above all, Darryl adored his children and cherished the time spent with them.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Randy Jo Phillips and Carol Candace Love Moody.
Darryl is survived by his wife, Geni Thompson Love of Ramer, TN; his beloved daughter, Candace Ariana Love of Ramer, TN; and his stepsons, Riley O’Neal Brown of Walnut Grove, TN, and Damian Manuel Hernandez of Ramer, TN. He is also survived by his sisters, Taylor Love Bonee of Crump, TN, and Amanda Jo Bruce of Florida. He is also survived by his aunt, Randi Love, uncle, John Dunn and cousin, Destiny Dunn each of whom had a special bond with Darryl and whom he loved dearly. Darryl leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Celebration of Darryl's life will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 3 at the Warrior Center, 214 N. Water St., Bolivar, TN 38808. Family, friends, and loved ones are invited and welcome to attend.
Darryl's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of joy, love, and laughter will continue to inspire and comfort his family and friends.
