Dennis Wayne Williams, aged 76, passed away on March 7, 2025, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on May 25, 1948, to Theodore Sanders Williams and June Nell Bishop Williams. Dennis worked for many years in the receiving department at Aqua Glass. He was a devoted member of the Church of God and enjoyed farming, dune buggies, and spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially during vacations in the Smoky Mountains.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ruby Williams, whom he married on May 31, 2002; his children, Casey Jerrolds (Jeremiah), Kandi Williams (Kevin), Amanda Ward (Tom), and Tonya Burks; his grandchildren, Jena Jerrolds, Jessica Jerrolds, Jerren Jerrolds, Kaitlyn Ward (Nick), Grace Ward, Anna Ward, Caleb Williams, Amayzah Burks, Eslyn Burks, and Wonderly Burks; and his great-grandchildren, Kynslee Ward, Kohen Ward, and a great-grandchild on the way.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Mitzi Williams, and his brother Teddy Keith Williams.
A celebration of Dennis's life will be held at the Souls Harvest Church of God, located at 220 One Stop Drive, Savannah at 10am on Monday, March 10th. Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on Monday from 8am until service time also at Souls Harbor Church of God. Burial will follow at Milledgeville Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rodney Ward, Andy Williams, Riley Ward, Noah Wolfe, Allen Smith, and John Ward. Honorary pallbearer will be Roger Snyder.
