Donna Wiegard Obituary

Donna Lea Adams Wiegard

Donna passed from this life on August 10, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, Mississippi, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on September 1, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, to David and Hazel Morse Adams, who welcomed her into this world with joy and guided her through life with love.

Donna’s life was a testament to kindness, dedication, and creativity. She worked as a bank teller and later as a representative for State Farm Insurance.  Her warmth and sincerity touched countless people,  but her most cherished roles were those of wife, sister, grandmother, and friend.

Donna’s heart was happiest when she was surrounded by her family — especially her grandchildren. She found joy in the simple pleasures: curling up with a good book, sewing something special, creating delicious meals, baking and decorating beautiful cakes, shopping for treasures, and spending precious time with loved ones. Her kitchen was often filled with the smell of fresh-baked treats and the sound of laughter, a place where she poured her love into every detail.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David Wiegard; her children, Catherine Rogers (Glynn) of Flovilla, GA, and her son, Steven Wiegard (Rebecca) of Olive Branch, MS,  her brothers Daniel Adams (Barbara) of Union, MO, and Curtis Adams (Martha) of Independence, MO; her sister Monica Brown (Rodney) of Waterloo, IL; and her beloved grandchildren Cassie Rogers, Emily Alsup, and Paul Wiegard.

Donna was welcomed into eternity by her parents, David and Hazel Adams, three brothers — David, Michael, and Mark Adams — and two sisters, Cynthia Watkins and Charlotte Pinson.

We remember Donna for her gentle spirit, her unwavering generosity, and the way she made every person feel valued. Her legacy lives on in the memories she created, the love she shared, and the family she treasured. While we will miss her deeply, we find comfort in knowing her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she loved.

As we say goodbye to Donna, let us carry forward her example — to cherish our loved ones, to find joy in everyday moments, and to love wholeheartedly, just as Donna did.
