Elmer Richard Hopper

Mr Elmer Richard Hopper age 94 passed on April 13, 2024 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. Elmer was born in Hardin County, TN on September 24, 1929 to the late Chessie and Deller Ganus Hopper. Bro. Elmer was a member of 1st Pentecostal Church in Crump, TN,  where he was a former media coordinator, and board member. He was a Master Mason and member of the Savannah 102 Lodge,  Bro. Hopper was an avid hunter and fisherman.  
 

He leaves behind to mourn his passing, wife, companion, and best friend Sis. Willie Jo Scott Hopper.  A brother, the Reverend James Hopper of Crump, sisters, Wilma Drace of Adamsville, Linda Parks of Olive Branch, and Dee Williams (Jerry) of Parsons, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:30 - 7pm Tuesday  April 16th, at the 1st Pentecostal Church in Crump, TN, and  at 11am until service time at 2pm Wednesday 17th,  at the church.  Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in Old Union Cemetery. His fellow Masonic brethren will serve as pallbearers.
