GARY LYNN BIZZELL

Gary Lynn Bizzell, Sr, age, 77, was born December 31,1946 to the late John Ray and Ora Pearl Phillips Bizzell in Memphis, Tn. Mr. Bizzell departed this life January 31,2024 at the Madison County Hospital in Jackson, Tn with his family by his side. Mr. Bizzell served 10 years in the United States Navy. He later attended Jackson State Community College where he earned an Associate Degree in Mathematics. Gary retired from the nuclear power industry in quality control and was a former Alderman for the town of Bethel Springs and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He has been a member of First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, Tn, for 50 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Gary Bizzell, Jr. (Angela), Olen Ray Bizzell, Darrin Craig Bizzell (Kimberly), his daughters, Shani Lyne Smith (Kevin), Liz Beth Buice (Chris Hamm), his brother Ronnie Bizzell, his sisters, Yvonne Hart and Sherri Payne; 12 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. Mr. Bizzell is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lisa Ann Stone. Gary services will be held on Saturday, at the First Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, TN starting at 10am with burial to follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Hysmith, Austin Bizzell, Patrick Payne, Joseph Payne, Jeremy Hostetler, Trae Browder, Eric Moore. Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville, Tn is entrusted with Mr. Bizzell arrangements. Our family at Associated are very honored and grateful to have been chosen to serve the Bizzell family in their time of sorrow.
