Gary Lane Borden

Gary Lane Borden, age 59, of Selmer, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Born on July 22, 1965, in Corinth, Mississippi, Gary was the beloved son of the late Talmage and Sarah Stutts Borden.

Gary worked as a dedicated factory worker and enjoyed spending his free time outdoors. He was passionate about fishing and hunting, and he had a particular love for rock hunting, often sharing his finds with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving brothers, Windell Borden (Tracey) of Michie, TN; Tony Borden (Teresa) of Ashland, MS; Ronnie Borden (Michelle) of Ashland, MS; and his dear sister, Janet Borden (Bob) of New Hope, TN. Gary is also survived by his favorite dog, Wendy, who brought him great comfort and companionship. He is preceded in death by his parents, Talmage and Sarah Stutts Borden; his brother, Jerry Borden; and his sister, Jacquelin Borden. His memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, August 22nd, 2024 at Liberty Church of Christ Cemetery in Michie, TN.
