Gavin Bryce Boswell, age 14, passed away on February 6, 2026, in Itawamba County, Mississippi. He was born on December 12, 2011, to Joshua Seth Boswell and Nikistea Webb.

Gavin was full of life. He loved being outdoors—hunting, fishing, and playing just about any sport you can think of. Football, basketball, baseball, golf—he enjoyed them all and played with heart. When he wasn’t outside, he was usually gaming with friends, especially on Fortnite. He was a big gamer and loved hanging out online, laughing and having fun.

More than anything, Gavin loved his family and friends. He had a big heart and made people feel included. He looked out for his siblings and was always happiest when he was with the people he cared about.

He is survived by his parents, Joshua Seth Boswell and Nikistea Webb (Forest); his brother Isaiah Webb; and his sisters Adalyn Boswell and Noralynn Boswell. He is also survived by his grandparents Julie Boswell (Chris), Dawn Duren, Jimmy Ferrell, and Merideth Staton; his uncles Noah Boswell (Jacinda), Caleb Boswell (Jackee), Luke Boswell (Jennifer), and Trenton Duren; and his aunts Scarlett Pouncy (Tommy) and Savannah Ferrell (Brian Mahoney). Gavin also leaves behind a bunch of cousins he loved spending time with.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Junior and Naomi Keymon, Hubert and Jean Boswell, Mildred Strickland, and Chris Staton.

A visitation for friends and family in Alabama will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, 901 4th Ave SW, Red Bay, AL 35582. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God In Savannah, Tn , with a visitation starting at 1:00 p.m. and continuing until the service.
