Gloria Altagracia Colburn, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, at Adamsville Healthcare. She was born on June 30, 1943, in Queens, New York, and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and a deep appreciation for the little joys in life.
Gloria had a sweet tooth and never turned down a good piece of candy. She found comfort in the magic of fantasy and science fiction films, and she had a love for reading that took her to worlds beyond imagination. A true nature lover, she cherished spending time outdoors, basking in the sun with her birds and enjoying the company of her beloved dog, Rascal. She also shared a special bond with Kody, a wolf hybrid who belonged to her daughter, Maria. Though Kody was much larger than Gloria, he was always loving and gentle with her.
More than anything, Gloria was devoted to her family. She adored her children and was always there to support them in any way she could. Her kindness extended beyond her family—she had a giving heart and would do anything to help those in need.
Gloria is survived by her loving children, Maria Colburn, Roy Colburn, and Leslie Odom. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her dear brother, Edwin Lopez.
