James C Plunk

James “Cole” Plunk, age 19, passed away March 31,2024, at the Med in Memphis, TN.  He was born August 20, 2004, to Jonathan Plunk, Samantha Wheeler Plunk.

Cole was self-employed as a mobile mechanic and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Bethel Springs, TN. 

He is survived by his father Jonathan Plunk of Bethel Springs, mother Samantha Wheeler Plunk of Finger, TN, one daughter Myah Turner and Myah’s mother Bailey Turner, one sister Madalyn Grace Plunk of Bethel Springs, five uncles, Garrey Plunk, Mike Wheeler, Kevin Wheeler, Stevie Wheeler and Jason Wheeler, two aunts Leanna Whiteside and Beverly Cole, one paternal grandmother, Teresa Plunk of Bethel Springs, TN, and maternal grandparents Neal and Kelly Wheeler and one grandmother Teresa Griner.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Stanley Ike Plunk.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024, 11 am at Adamsville Chapel of Memories at Associated Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Liberty Church Cemetrry 3049 Forty Forks Rd in Bethel Springs with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home from 5 pm to 7pm on Tuesday.
