Janice Marie Crans, age 82, passed away on February 11, 2025, in Savannah, TN. She was born on May 25, 1942, to Walter William Harris and Ruth Eliff Harris. Throughout her life, she lived in many places, from Michigan to Knoxville, but she began and ended her journey in Adamsville, TN.
She is survived by her loving partner, Daniel Feazell; her daughters, Tina Whitson (Samuel) of Knoxville, TN, and Kimberly Howard (Robert) of Clinton, TN; her brother, Larry "Bud" Harris (Maudie); her grandchildren, William Cross (Brittany), Kenneth Cross (Chesney), Luke Whitson (Kati), Annah Whitson, Brook Morgan, and Blake Morgan (Gabby); and her great-grandchildren, Adriana, Liam, Lillian, Cash, Leo, Banks, Charlotte, Ellie, and Ace.
Janice had a passion for flowers and gardening, and she loved to draw—her artistic spirit shining through in everything she created. She was musically gifted, playing every instrument in the band, and she had a deep love for sports, especially basketball.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Gina Bates; and her siblings, Frances Fields, Gerry Harris, and Loretta Plunk.
A service celebrating her life will be held on 2PM, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville, TN. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the service time. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Adamsville. Larry Robertson and Chris Harris will officiate the service.
