Janice Faye (Turner) Milligan

Janice Faye Milligan, age 67, passed away peacefully at her residence in Michie, Tennessee, on January 7, 2025. She was born on August 3, 1957, to the late William Everett Turner and Corrine Baldwin Turner Mills. Janice was a resident of the Michie area for nearly 50 years. She found joy in sewing, knitting, and spending cherished moments with her grandchildren.

Janice is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Leon Milligan; her children, Nicole “Nikki” Sides (Logan), Melissa "Sissy" Burney (Jason), and Chris Milligan (Joy); and her grandchildren, Savannah Cuzzort, Caleb Sides, Anna Burney, and Cori Sides. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Turner (Freda).

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Janie Johnson; and her brothers, Tommy Turner and Neal Turner.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 12, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and will continue on Monday, January 13, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A service celebrating Janice's life will follow at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Associated Family Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Center Hill Cemetery in Counce.
