Janice Marie Plunk, 73, of Savannah, TN, passed away on January 28, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth, MS. She was born on January 29, 1951, to the late Harry Duncan, Sr., and Maxine Shea Duncan.
Janice had a love for travel and cherished vacations with family and friends. She found joy in flowers of all kinds and delighted in spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Dixon (Frank); her brothers, Larry Duncan (Stephanie) and Tommy Duncan (Becky); her grandson, Carson White; her step-grandson, Tyler White; her nieces, Ashley Dycus, Abby Duncan, Heather Horton, and Kristin; and her nephews, Larry Duncan, Jr., Todd Duncan, Joseph Duncan, and Chris Palmer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Calvin Plunk; her son, Richard Calvin Plunk; her daughter, Jana Renee White; and her brother, Harry Duncan, Jr.
A service celebrating Janice’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Morris Chapel Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until the time of service. Burial will follow at Crump Cemetery.
