Jarod R. Pickens

Mr. Jarod Russell Pickens was born June 29, 1982 in Savannah, Tn to the late Jasper and Betty Ruth Franks Pickens. He departed this life unexpectedly on January 15, 2026 in Savannah, Tn. Jarod was of the Baptist faith and worked as a boatman . In his spare time he enjoyed fishing , hunting , and cooking , He is survived by his two precious children Joseph and Braelyn Pickens , his brother Jason Pickens (wife Baretta) , his sisters Regina Pickens and Hollie Mitchell (husband Johnathan), as well as a special cousin who loved and cared for him deeply Lisa Davis (husband BO).  Jarod was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Jasiel '' Buddy'' Pickens. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 6, 2026 at the Associated Family Funeral Home chapel in Adamsville, Tn beginning at 3pm, the family will receive friends on Friday from 2pm until service time at 3pm in the chapel. Burial will be in the Wilkerson Cemetery in Savannah, Tn. Pastor Steve Whitten will officiate the service.
