Jeff Thomas Hilton, born on December 29, 1954, passed away peacefully at his residence in Selmer, Tennessee, on August 29, 2024, at the age of 69.
Jeff was the beloved son of the late Holland White Hilton and Ermabell Sharplin Hilton. A skilled and hardworking man, Jeff spent his career as a self-employed welder and pipefitter, earning the respect and admiration of those who knew him.
Outside of his work, Jeff was a man of many interests. He found great joy in the outdoors, spending much of his time hunting, fishing, and traveling. These activities were more than just hobbies; they were passions that brought him peace and happiness.
Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Connie Luna, with whom he shared many wonderful years. He leaves behind his son, Gene Hilton, and daughter-in-law, Nikki, of Jackson, TN, and his stepdaughter, Candi Clark, and son-in-law, Randall, of Lovelville, TN. Jeff was a proud grandfather to Gracie Hilton, Drake Hilton, Ella Hilton, Gio Hilton, and Lauren Roberson, all of whom were his pride and joy.
He is also survived by his sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hilton and her husband, Thomas Mlinek, of Lexington, TN, and Minnie Bell Reeves of Ridgeland, MS. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Jeff will be remembered for his hard work, his love of nature, and the deep affection he had for his family. His legacy will continue through the lives of his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
