Jeremy “Bubba” Crowell, age 53, of Enville, Tennessee, passed away on June 8, 2025. Born on April 13, 1972, he was the beloved son of Jerry Crowell and the late Jean Holmes Crowell.
Bubba lived a life marked by service, generosity, and a deep love for his family and community. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he later spent his working years as a dedicated truck driver. He was a member of Enville Methodist Church and was well-known for his kind heart and helping hands—always ready to lend a ride or support to someone in need.
He found joy in life’s simple pleasures: fishing, four-wheeler riding, gardening, and visiting the flea market. He especially enjoyed making pear preserves, a small but sweet reflection of the care he put into the things he loved.
Bubba is survived by his father, Jerry Crowell; his sisters, Jessica Culpepper and Jennifer Hollingsworth (Tom), all of Enville; and the son he lovingly raised, Brandon Stokes (Gabbi), along with their baby on the way—Bubba’s first grandchild. He also leaves behind his nieces, Brittany, Mercedes, and Tamera; his nephew, Aiden; great-nephew, Kanan; and grandparents, Sue and Jay Poff of Hernando, Mississippi.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jean Holmes Crowell; grandparents JC and Geraldine Crowell; and grandfather, Clyde Holmes.
A celebration of Bubba’s life will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Enville Methodist Church, with Brother Robert Conder officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Milledgeville Cemetery.
