Jerry Lynn Jones, age 57, passed away on June 10, 2025, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee. Born on September 28, 1967, Jerry was the beloved son of the late Kenneth Ray Jones and Linda Qualls Presley.
A native Tennessean, Jerry lived a life full of spirit, laughter, and love for the outdoors. He had a deep passion for coon hunting and often found solace riding through the river bottoms, taking in the beauty of the natural world. He had a special appreciation for scenery and an even greater love for making others laugh. Whether by sharing a joke or playfully aggravating those around him, Jerry brought joy and humor wherever he went.
He is survived by his devoted girlfriend, Mary Jo Pipes; his stepson, Noah Casteel; and his sisters, Amy Pipes (Tommy) and Janice Jones. He also leaves behind his niece, Kimberly Fox, and nephews Wesley Aaron Jones, Christopher Bowman, Zachary Pipes, and Phillip Bowman. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, whose memories he carried throughout his life.
Services celebrating Jerry’s life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 14th, at Associated Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, and again on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Nixon, Tennessee.
