John Edward Hartley

Mr. John Edward Hartley, age 81, passed away peacefully at his residence in Selmer, Tennessee, on April 11, 2026.

He was born on April 17, 1944, to Fred and Carrie Hartley. John lived a life defined by his love of music and his dedication to his craft. A talented musician, he was proud to be a member of the Country Music Association (CMA), where he shared his passion and connected with others who cherished country music as deeply as he did.

John will be remembered for his warm spirit, his musical talent, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on through the songs he played and the memories he created with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra Hartley; his sons, Mickey Hartley and Clint Wolf; and his daughter, Bridget Hartley. He also leaves behind extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
