Johnny Aaron Blakney, 67, of Counce, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his residence on February 22, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1957, in Corinth, Mississippi, to the late Vernon Blakney and Charlene Wood Blakney.
Johnny had a deep love for the outdoors, whether it was fishing, riding his motorcycle, or simply enjoying nature. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.
He is survived by his sons, John Blakney (Megan) and Jesse Blakney (Kayla); his beloved grandchildren, Allie Blakney, Kade Blakney, Madison Blakney, Lauren Blakney, and Beau Blakney. He also leaves behind his siblings, Ronnie Blakney, Ritchie Blakney (Kristi), and Sylvia Cooper (JC), as well as numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
A service celebrating Johnny’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville, Tennessee. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until the time of service.
Burial will follow in White Sulphur Springs Cemetery at Pickwick.
