Johnny Harold Rowsey, age 86, of Savannah, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on May 28, 1939, to William H. Rowsey and Beulah Mae Smith Rowsey.
Johnny was a good-hearted man who lived a simple, honest life. He attended Peoples Tabernacle Church and loved the Lord. He also loved camping, hunting, and just being outside in God’s creation. But more than anything, Johnny loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Faye Rowsey; two daughters, Dianne Landreth (Eddie) and Tina Bauman (Jason); his brother, Sammy Rowsey; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who he was proud of every single day.
Johnny was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, William and Beulah; his sister, Barbara Polk; two brothers, Jimmy and Edward Rowsey; and his daughter, Mechelle Rowsey.
A service to celebrate Johnny’s life will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Peoples Tabernacle Church in Savannah, TN. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until service time. Pastor Josh Franks will be officiating, and Jason Bauman, Johnny’s son-in-law, will share some personal words. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
