Mrs. Juanita Mae (guy) Boyce, 85, of Saltillo, TN, peacefully passed over to the Other Side, On Saturday, September 16th, 2023., while at home. Juanita was born in the state of New York (Cortland County) on March 26, 1938., to John and Loretta (Bolt) Guy. She was married to and became the widow of Donald A. Boyce Sr., who passed over to the Other Side just over one year prior. Juanita and her husband Donald Boyce Sr., were married along side Donald’s brother- Albert (Lockwood) and Juanita’s sister- Georgia (Guy), in a small Baptist Church, in Cortland, NY., on September 28th, 1957. The couples shared their love for each other children., as if they were their own. Juanita passed away just 12 days prior to hers and Donald's 66th wedding anniversary. She worked in several places throughout her lifetime, some of these places include-Smith Corona, Cortland Memorial Hospital (dietary), Jay Line Togs, The Red Apple, Food Bag, Pinkerton Guards, NCC Ind, D & L of Milan, TN., and many others sewing factories between the states of New York And Tennessee. Juanita’s favorite hobbies included swimming, fishing, and camping with her husband and kids, sewing items for friends and loved ones, reading her Bible., and cooking a large Spaghetti Meal for her countless loved ones. She was a member of Love and Truth Church in Adamsville, TN. Juanita is survived by 2 sisters, Joan (Grant) Custer of Maryland And Sharon (Rick) Swartwood of North Carolina, 1 brother, Jim (Marylynn) Guy of Auburn, NY, 2 sons- Robert (Pam) Boyce of Tennessee, and Bradley (Chelsey) Boyce of Idaho, 4 daughters- Tina (Kevin) Long Sr. Kathy (Walter) Case of Cortland, NY, Sabrina (Trent) of Idaho, Maria (Glenn) Bohanan Sr, of Saltillo, TN. Juanita has several nieces and nephews, to whom she loved dearly. She was the proud grandmother to 21 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great grandchildren. Juanita was proceeded by her grandson, Kevin Mark Long Jr., son, Donald Boyce Jr., husband, Donald Boyce., father, John Guy Sr., mother, Loretta (Bolt) Guy, sister, Georgia (Guy) Lockwood, and brother, John Guy Jr. Nonetheless, IT’S BEEN “A GOOD YEAR FOR THE ROSES!” Visitation service for Juanita at the Associated Family Funeral Home, LLC., in Adamsville, TN, on Tuesday, September 19th, 2023, at 6 PM.
