Justin Lee Hillis, of Ramer, Tennessee, passed away tragically on April 15, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born on January 16, 1992, to Emmitt Hillis and Diana Mulder and had been a lifelong resident of the Ramer area.
Justin worked as a laborer in the construction industry and was known for his strong work ethic and kind heart. He had a love for the simple things in life—arrowhead hunting, fishing, cooking breakfast at any hour of the day, drawing, and listening to music. His creativity and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his father, Emmitt Hillis (Tina Killingsworth); his mother, Diana Mulder (Bobby); his beloved daughter, Andi-Kate Hillis; his brother, Ethan Hillis; and his sisters, Megan Mulder, Molly Mulder, and Jessie Thrasher. He is also survived by his uncles Thomas Booker (Veronica), William Jernigan (Amy Butler), Kevin Hillis, and Joseph Henson, along with many close friends who will miss him dearly.
Justin was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Booker; his grandmother, Effie Brown; his grandfather, Thomas Booker; and his aunt, Mickey Hillis.
Services celebrating Justin’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Chapel of Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville, TN. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
