KEITH CONAWAY

Mr Keith Conaway, age 84, of Adamsville passed Friday July 25,2025 at the Med in Memphis from injuries he received in an auto accident. Keith was born May 14,1941 to Gilbert Claude and Laurene Smith Conaway at Morris Chapel.  He was the widower of Martha Jean Cooksey Conaway and was a retired farmer who loved to coon hunt and raise coon dogs.  For years he raised and sold trained hound dogs for coon hunting. Keith was a member of Adamsville First Baptist Church. 

Visitation will be on Sunday July 27th from 2 until 4pm with funeral services scheduled for 4pm at Adamsville Chapel of Memories lat Associated Family Funeral Home, LLC 230 N Maple St, Adamsville.  Burial will follow in Morris Chapel Cemetery.  
 

Mr Conaway is survived by 3 sons Dr Granville Conaway, who is a local veterinarian in Savannah, Byron Conaway a paving company contractor, and Jeffery Conaway who is a building contractor all of Savannah. Keith also leaves a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents, wife, and 2 brothers, Harrell and Larry Conaway.
