Kenneth Edward Short, Jr.

Mr. Kenneth Edward Short Jr. was born November 17, 1969 in Savannah, Tn to Glenda Hime and the late Kenneth E. Short Sr. , He departed this life unexpectedly on January 30, 2026 at the Hardin County Hospital in Savannah, Tn. Kenneth was a retired truck driver and of the Christian belief. In his spare time he enjoyed listening to classic rock music , fishing , and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Glenda Short, his children Kayla McVey and Brandon Short, his brother Gregory Short (wife Dawn) as well as a host of extended family and friends . Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Short Sr. and sister Pam Short.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday February 3, 2026 at the Associated Family Funeral Home chapel beginning at 3pm , the family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2pm until service time at 3pm in the chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Herman cemetery in Savannah, Tn. Pastor Shane Riley will officiate the service.
