Kurt Max Trumbauer, Sr., 67, passed away on March 3, 2026, at Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tennessee.
Kurt was born on July 7, 1958, in Millville, New Jersey, to the late Claude Trumbauer and Anna Hogan. Over the years, he built a life centered around family, hard work, and the relationships he formed with those around him. He will be remembered by loved ones for the time he shared with family and friends and for the many memories he leaves behind.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Porter Trumbauer of Savannah, Tennessee; his children, Kurt Trumbauer, Jr. of Bella Vista, Arkansas, John Pettit of Florida, Kurtis Trumbauer, Sissy Mancell of Savannah, Tennessee, and Felica Maples of Adamsville, Tennessee. He is also survived by his brothers, John Hogan of New Jersey and Butch Trumbauer of New Jersey.
Kurt leaves behind nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren who will continue to carry his memory forward.
A service celebrating Kurt’s life will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Adamsville Chapel of Memories. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM and continue until the time of the service at the funeral hom
