Lillie Mae Terry, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025. She was born on June 11, 1937, to JP Robbins and Mable Walker Robbins. For the past 30 years, she called the Henderson area home, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and care.
Lillie dedicated much of her life to caring for others. She worked at Brown Shoe Company and Chester County Sportswear before later becoming a devoted caretaker. Her compassionate nature and unwavering dedication to helping those in need were evident in everything she did.
She is survived by her beloved grandchildren, David Hysmith and Brian Dickey; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Hysmith and BJ Dickey; and her great-great-grandchildren, Denver Dickey and Raylen Dickey. She also leaves behind her cherished sisters, Jennie Mooney and Dorothy Goodrum.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Vicki Ann Hysmith Dickey; and her siblings, Constance Marie, Mary Mildred, Anita, Billy Joe, Gene, Jack, James, Carolyn Young, and Shirley Smith.
A service celebrating Lillie’s life will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Associated Family Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Chester County Memory Gardens.
