Covington, TN - Linda Ridgell, born on June 28, 1958, to Cletious and Pearl Blanton, passed away peacefully at her residence on September 7, 2024. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Linda lived a life full of simple pleasures and meaningful moments.
Linda found great joy in the everyday things that made life beautiful. She loved sitting on her porch, sipping coffee, and enjoying a bacon sandwich while watching birds and squirrels outside her window. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, whether picnicking at the park or simply enjoying their company at home. Linda also had a passion for drawing, listening to music, and, when able, indulging in her love for fishing. She was an active member of the Crump Flea Market community, running a booth there for many years and sharing her love for thrifting and collecting with others.
She is survived by her daughter Jamie Boiter (James Jr.) of Covington, TN, her grandchildren Jessica Smith (Devin), Juniper Boiter, Jazmynn Boiter, Jodie Harris (Andrew), Joshua Boiter, and Cody Ridgell. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren Karter & Maizy Harris, Kreylin and Nolan Smith, Xander Williams, Jackson Boiter, and Calina Galindo. Linda is further survived by her brothers, Thomas Blanton and Billy Blanton, along with 14 nieces and nephews, 17 great-nieces and nephews, and many other dear friends and loved ones.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her son Jody Ridgell, her brother Carter Blanton, her sister Wanda Wilkins, her great-grandsons Jaxson Boiter and Gabriel James, and many others who awaited her with open arms.
