Lloyd Albert Braim, age 80, of Michie, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026. He was born on March 12, 1945, in Gresham, Oregon, to Lloyd and Louise Holbrook Braim.
Lloyd proudly served in the United States Navy as an Engineman 1st Class. He later worked as a maintenance supervisor for Abbott Laboratories. Twenty-one years ago, he moved to Michie from Beach Park, Illinois, settling on the land he loved and where he found true peace.
Lloyd was a man of many interests and talents. He had a passion for four-wheeling and woodworking, with a gift for creating beautiful things with his hands. He also enjoyed video games and once loved to travel, though he found his heart rooted in Tennessee. A follower of current events, he was often found watching Fox News and OAN.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Davis Braim; his children, Michael “Skip” Braim (Sheila) of Kenosha, WI, Steve Braim (Kristina) of Apollo Beach, FL, Kelly Braim of Wisconsin, and Amy Scott (Shawn) of Michigan; his sister, Linda Bogert (Scott) of Oklahoma; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Drace, Nancy, Lauren, and Laurice, and his great-grandson Aiden Braim.
Per his wishes, there will be no formal services.
