Margie Moffett passed away in the afternoon of February 17, 2025 at the age of 60 years and 2 months at her home in Jackson, TN. Born to the late J.B. Thompson and late Kaye Thompson in Fayetteville, TN. Margie loved her family, painting, science demonstrations and watching movies with her grandchildren.
Margie was a member of Landmark Pentecostal church in Stantonville, TN, and attended McNairy Central High School, Class of 1983. After high school she worked for
Aqua Glass in Adamsville, TN. She continued her education to receive her Bachelors Degree in Business from Everest University. She worked with Dr. Conrad in Savannah
TN speaking and helping people with diabetes. Margie loved her EMS people that transported her to dialysis.
Margie is survived by her daughter Leonda Moffett, Jackson, TN, her son James Moffett, Jackson, TN. Three granddaughters, Loriona, Olivia, Adylin all of Jackson, TN. One grandson Timmy Pennington of Savannah, TN. Two brothers James Thompson(Connie) of Savannah, TN and Robert Thompson of Finger, TN and a sister Patricia King of Jackson, TN.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband Tim Moffett, a son Timmy Moffett and a daughter Dawn Hickman, her parents J.B. and Kaye Thompson, a brother Charles
Thompson and a brother-in-law Steven King. In addition to her survivors she leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Services for Margie will be: Visitation Friday February 21, 2025 at Landmark Pentecostal Church, 10135 TN-142, Stantonville, TN 38379 from 4-7 pm, Saturday, February 22, 2025, visitation 8-10 am with services at 10 am. Burial at Falcon Cemetery in Selmer, TN
