Melody Nell Gilmore

Melody Nell Gilmore, age 30, of Shiloh, Tennessee, passed away on April 19, 2026. She was born on January 5, 1996, to Alden Gilmore and Patti Plunk Gilmore.

Melody was a free-spirited and adventurous soul who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved riding four wheelers, fishing, and digging for treasures—pastimes that reflected her curiosity, love of the outdoors, and vibrant personality. She will be remembered for her warm heart, and the happiness she brought to those who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Levi Jones, Abigail Jones, Jasper Jones, and Brian Gilmore McLin; her parents, Alden and Patti Gilmore; her fiancé, Hunter McLin; her sisters, Elizabeth Massey and Skyla Mathes; her nieces, Willow Simpson, Rihanna Gilmore Hammott, and Heaven Slott; her nephews, Samuel Simpson and Logan Slott; and her cousin, Vivian Rolison.

Melody was preceded in death by her uncle, Johnny Gilmore; her aunt, Christine Sheffield; her grandparents, Flossie May Gilmore and Stem Gilmore; and her sister, Glenda Gilmore.

Funeral service will be held at Associated Family Funeral Home LLC on Sunday April 26th at 2 p.m. Internment to follow at New Harmony Cemetery 610 Middle Bridge Road Savannah, TN 38372.

Melody’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
