Michael Evans, age 64, peacefully passed away at Hardin Medical Center on June 7, 2024. He was born on February 18, 1960, to Stanley Evans and Melba Bishop Evans in Van Nuys, CA.
Michael was a skilled self-employed carpenter, known for his craftsmanship and dedication to his work. He also served his country with honor in the Army, embodying principles of duty and service throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving son, Michael Evans Jr. (Heather), residing in Memphis, TN, and his cherished daughter, Leah Wick (David), of Savannah, TN. Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Dana Evans (Annette) and Bruce Evans (Debbie), all of Memphis, TN, and his sister, Donna Boyce (Patrick) of Nashville, TN.
Michael was a proud grandfather to Nathaniel Wick, James Wick, Skylia Evans, Diamond Evans, and Londyn Evans, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Lillie Johnson Evans, his parents, Stanley Evans and Melba Bishop Evans, and his sister, Dori Kelton. Though they have gone before him, their memories will forever be cherished.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation/viewing on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Adamsville Chapel of Memories in Adamsville, TN.
Michael's legacy of love, resilience, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace, reunited with his loved ones who have gone before him.
