Nettie Pearl Robertson

Nettie Pearl Robertson, age 89, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2025, at AHC Savannah. She was born on September 23, 1935, to Arther Lee Huggins and Ida Mae Killingsworth Huggins.

A woman of deep faith and devotion, Nettie was a member of The Church of God in Michie, where she found joy in worshipping the Lord. She loved singing, playing the guitar and piano, and sharing her musical talents with those around her. Her greatest joys in life were her family, her faith, and the time spent with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nettie is survived by her daughters, Donna Roper, Eva Thacker, and La-Neal Anderson (Joe); her sons, Randy Robertson, Danny Robertson (Shelia), Audy Robertson, and Michael Robertson (Shelia); and her sisters, Nona Franks, Penny Presley, and Aquilla Killingsworth. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arther and Ida Mae Huggins; her children, Kenneth Robertson, Barry Robertson, and Linda Anderson; her daughters-in-law, Vicki Robertson and Norma Robertson; and her siblings, Mary McLemore, Joe Huggins, J.W. Huggins, and Milton Huggins.

A celebration of Nettie’s life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Associated Family Funeral Home, with Sister Mary Shelton officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at Stantonville City Cemetery.

Nettie’s unwavering faith, musical spirit, and boundless love for her family will forever be cherished. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
