Patricia Ruth Terry

Patricia Ruth Terry, age 63, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025. Born on May 17, 1962, to the late Charles Passwater and Donna Blackard Passwater, Patricia was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Patricia had made Adamsville her home for the past six months, bringing her warmth and unique spirit to those around her. She had a deep love for the simple joys of life — spending time on her tablet, watching television, being in the woods, and relaxing at the beach. These peaceful moments were where she found joy and connection to the world around her.

She is survived by her son David Burnley; daughters Patty Plunk and Chrissy Smith; stepson Rodney Smith; her brothers Chuck Passwater, Mark Passwater, Bob Linville, and Billy Linville; and her sisters Cindy Passwater, Cheryl Passwater, and Karen Passwater. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Michael, Katylyn, Bree, Caleb, Cody, Shay, Leland, Arwyn, and Logan; great-grandchildren: Sebastian, Cade, and Kiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Donna Passwater; her daughter, Stephanie Smith; and two grandchildren, Willow and Cara.

A memorial service celebrating Patricia’s life will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Associated Family Funeral Home.
