Ricky Nabors, age 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Adamsville Health Care.
Ricky was born on January 19, 1958, in Memphis, Tennessee, to the late Raymond Nabors and Willie Pearl Eaves Wheeler. He was of the Methodist faith and worked for many years as a self-employed carpenter. Ricky was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time outdoors working in his yard. One of his simple joys in life was keeping his pickup truck clean and shining.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Nabors and wife Alicia; his daughter, Dana Seaton; his brothers, Randy Nabors, Brian Wheeler, and Patrick Wheeler; his grandchildren, Madison Nabors, Trae Seaton, Tallie Seaton, Ava Nabors, and Evie Nabors; and his great-grandchildren, Colson Tucker, Conley Tucker, and Landry Seaton.
In addition to his parents, Ricky was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Nabors.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 9, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Associated Family Funeral Home in Adamsville. A message of comfort will begin at 3:30 PM with Minister Steve Wilbanks officiating.
