Robert Dean Brewer, age 75, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, just one day shy of his 76th birthday. He was born on April 25, 1950, to the late William Burcham Brewer and Mary Olive Slater.
Robert lived a life marked by dedication, skill, and a distinctive sense of humor. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a jet aircraft mechanic, where his precision and work ethic reflected his deep commitment to excellence. Following his military service, Robert continued his career in electronics at Pratt & Whitney, further showcasing his technical expertise.
A man of ingenuity and independence, Robert later owned and operated his own electronics business. He approached life with a unique perspective, often reminding those around him that “everything was a joke,” a reflection of his lighthearted spirit and ability to find humor even in life’s challenges.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Debbye Brewer; his brothers, Bill Brewer and Jim Brewer; his sisters, Marjorie Brewer McKinney (Blake) and Cheryl Brewer; and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Adamsville for a visitation only. A Graveside Service at Corinth National Cemetery will be held on May 8, 2026 at 12:00PM with Air Force Honors presented at the Graveside.
He will be remembered for his service, his craftsmanship, and his enduring sense of humor. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
