Robert Kent Martin, age 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Henderson, TN on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, after a brief illness. Born on May 24, 1957, in New Orleans, LA, Robert was the beloved son of Cedric and Norma Martin, who preceded him in death.

A proud Navy veteran, Robert served his country with honor. After his military service, he embraced a quiet life filled with creativity, enjoying painting and building projects. Known for his love of home, Robert found joy in working with his hands and creating things that brought beauty and purpose to his surroundings.

Before settling in Henderson five years ago, Robert had lived in Utah. Throughout his life, he remained a steady and dependable presence for his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Judy, his daughter, Laren Martin, and his cherished grandchildren, Alexis Frye, Jacob Valladares, and Josh Valladares. Robert also leaves behind a great-grandchild, River Frye, who brought him endless joy.
