Sandra Nutt Jones, 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Savannah, Tennessee, on June 20, 2024. Born on August 31, 1949, in Waynesboro, Tennessee, Sandra was the daughter of Ivan Nutt and Georgia Kelly Nutt.
Sandra was known for her boisterous spirit. She was always a source of support to her family and friends, giving her time to others to help as she could. She cherished her role as a mother and loved her grandchildren & great-grandchildren very much. She was dedicated to reading bible scripture daily. She enjoyed cooking and baking favorite dishes for her family and watching her favorite TV shows.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Georgia Nutt; her beloved husband, George Michael Jones; her stepdaughter, Georgana Jones; her brothers, John H. Nutt, Tom Nutt, and Jim Nutt; her sisters, Grace Vandivort, Louneil Bates, Glenda Sue Nutt, and Dorothy Ann Woods; and her grandson, Noah Graham.
She is survived by her sons, Oscar Shannon Graham of Savannah, TN, and Stephen Brent Graham (Chrystal) of Millington, TN; her daughter, Sherri Cavaletti (Tony) of St. Louis, MO; her brother, Jerry Nutt of Waynesboro, TN; and her sisters, Nancy Hill (Lewis) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Carolyn Downey (Carlos) of Nashville, TN.
Sandra was a proud grandmother to Mason Graham (Conner) of Millington, TN, Parker Cavaletti of St. Louis, MO, Magan Burdge (Mike) of Maple Valley, WA, Nicholas Allen (Lindsay) of St. Louis, MO, Deven Graham of Memphis, TN, and Skiler Thomas of Lexington, TN. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren, Lilli Burdge, Oliver Allen, and Keaton Allen.
A graveside service will be held at 3 PM on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Mt. Vinson Cemetery, 2381 Mt Vinson Rd, Stantonville, TN. Visitation will be from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Associated Family Funeral Home, 230 N. Maple St., Adamsville, TN.
