Sarah Jo Morgan

Sarah Jo Morgan, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at Adamsville Health and Rehab, surrounded by love and memories of a life well lived. Born on April 28, 1948, to Joe Clay and Margaret Sutton Clay, Sarah Jo brought warmth, creativity, and a vibrant spirit into the world that she carried with grace throughout her life.

A gifted and self-employed hairdresser and cosmetologist, Sarah Jo had a true passion for helping others look and feel their best. Her artistry with hair and makeup made her a trusted figure in her community, especially in the beauty pageant world, where her talent and encouragement helped countless contestants shine.

Beyond her professional life, Sarah Jo enjoyed reading magazines, camping on the lake, and spending cherished time with her grandchildren. Her nurturing nature, sense of humor, and love for her family were at the heart of everything she did.

She is survived by her loving children: Joseph Corbet Morgan of College Grove, TN; Killian Morgan of Savannah, TN; and Mardi Morgan of Franklin, TN. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Anna Morgan, Matthew Morgan, Annalise Morgan, Maybrie Morgan, Ridge Morgan, and Casen Morgan.

Sarah Jo also leaves behind her siblings: brother Tyrone Clay of Savannah, TN; brother Russell Clay of Texas; sister Abbie Hampton of Waynesboro, TN; and sister Cassandra Linaro of Savannah, TN. Each of them holds dear the memories of her love, laughter, and unwavering support.

A memorial service to honor Sarah Jo’s life will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM and continuing until service time.
