Shirley (Brewer) Kelley

Shirley Brewer Kelley, age 66, passed away on March 1, 2026, in Big Stone Gap, Virginia.

She was born November 15, 1959, to Walter Brewer and Madg Robinson Brewer. Shirley was a woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures and in spending time with the people she loved most.

A devoted Catholic, Shirley enjoyed shopping, going to yard sales, playing cards and board games, and cooking for others. She especially loved preparing meals and sharing them with family and friends, something that brought her great happiness. Shirley’s warm heart and generous spirit made those around her feel welcomed and cared for.

She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory. She is survived by her son, James Price; her daughters, Rena Strickland (Joseph), Sunday Kennedy (Lee), and Kathy Price (Bradley Ray). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Brooklyn Kennedy, Luke Kennedy, Jake Millinder, Matthew Kennedy, Natalie Kennedy, Artorius Bennett, Maggie Bolin, and Aurora Bolin.
